All terms not otherwise defined shall be defined according
to the current edition of The American Heritage Dictionary.
II.A. Brother
A person who has participated in the Initiation Ritual
of Alpha Phi Omega shall be considered a Brother for the
purposes of these Bylaws.
II.B. Semester
Semester shall be defined as either the Fall or Spring semester
as set by the Carnegie Mellon schedule of classes.
II.C. Rush Period
The Rush Period shall last from the beginning of the first
day of class of the Semester until the beginning of the Pledge
Bid Meeting.
II.D. Pledging Period
The Pledging Period shall last from the conclusion of
the Pledging Ceremony
until the beginning of the Initiation
Bid Meeting.
II.E. Enrolled
A student is considered Enrolled for the purposes of these
Bylaws if they are enrolled as a degree seeking or full time
student at Carnegie Mellon on the first day of the current
Semester.
Persons on a leave of absence from Carnegie Mellon shall be
considered to remain Enrolled for the purposes of these Bylaws.
