The
forum will begin on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2003 at 9:00 a.m. and end
on Wednesday, Oct 15, 2003 at 04:30 p.m.
Opening and
technical sessions will be held at Diamond Ballroom 2 on the first
day. On the second day, technical and closing sessions will be held
at Diamond Ballroom 1, and the group-based discussions in the Lotus,
Azalea,and Orchid rooms. (Diamond Ballroom 1, 2 are on the 2nd Floor.
Lotus, Azalea, and Orchid rooms are on the 23rd Floor)
Oral presentations Authors
will have 15 minutes to illustrate the main topics of their contribution(s).
Five minutes will be reserved for questions and answers. Discussion
is planned for the group-based discussion on the next day. A
beam projector will be available. Illustrations should be in Powerpoint
2000 compatible format and stored on CDrom following ISO-1 standard
only. An overhead projector for transparencies (30 x 30 cm) will
be available.
Poster
set-up and Poster sessions The poster
will be set up along the corridors of the Renaissance Hotel. Two
1-meter wide panels (format A0, 841mm x 1189mm) will be available
per poster. The authors of the posters are requested to attach
their posters on Monday between 3:00 p.m and 5:30 p.m. They should
leave their posters posted until the end of the seminar. Session
IV will consist of brief presentations on ten (10) research institutions.
Each introductory presentation is allocated 3 minutes, total 30
minutes. After a brief introduction, there will be a discussion
period lasting 25 minutes.
