Triose Phosphate Isomerase Structure
Triose phosphate isomerase (1ypi.pdb) is a central enzyme in the glycolytic pathway. This dimeric protein structure is from yeast.
The repeating bab units diagrammed in the text are seen here in top and side views. All of the b-strands are parallel.

The starting Display is Cartoons; the Color is Structure.
The amino and carboxyl termini of both subunits are labeled.
Viewing Tip: Rotate X in 90° steps to switch the "top" and "side" views of the subunits.
