Tropomyosin Structure
Tropomyosin (2tma.pdb) is a fibrous protein that is part of the muscle fibers. Each a-helix coils around the other to form a left-handed parallel superhelix. This architecture is called a "coiled coil".

The starting Display is Backbone; the Color is Chain.
The amino and carboxyl termini of chain A are labeled.
(This model contains only the a-carbons, hence Backbone is the only meaningful display.)
