We gave a detailed look at the molecular orbital theory's description of bonding and geometry in carbon dioxide, CO₂. Allene, H₂C=C=CH₂, is isoelectronic with carbon dioxide. Show whether or not the geometry of allene is planar according to the molecular orbitals applicable to its bonding.
