The functions of this machine are the same as Hiragana
Machine (5).
Until all the katakana (i.e., from
through
)
are printed out, please be patient.
How to Start Katakana Machine (5)
First, wait until all the katakana are printed out
below the total score box. Then click the "Start"
button.
How to Play
Now you have a katakana to the left of the entering
area. Enter the romaji for the katakana (i.e., how
to read it). If your answer is correct, you'll get one
point. If it is incorrect, you'll lose two points.
If there are some variations in the romaji
representation of a katakana such as "fu" and "hu",
or "shi" and "si", you can just enter any one of them.
The machine automatically checks them.
You can see all the katakana and answers by clicking
the "Next" button continuously.
In order to restart, simply click the "Start" button.
