Preliminary Research

How Do People Use "Notepads"?
Through brainstorming and interviewing, identify tasks people often accomplish by using portable objects (pen & notepad, camera, etc.) that allow them to capture information of various modality, and/or to communicate the captured information to others.

1. List every possible portable objects you can imagine that allow people to capture information.
2. List what people do with these objects.
3. Categorize those tasks by purposes as well as situations where these objects are used.

The goal of this research is to familiarize yourself to the design problem.
