Weak behaviorism 
We don't need to talk about consciousness
	That is not a great loss, this not relevant for science
	Consciousness just beside the point for scientific explanation
Are intelligent actors conscious? 
	We don't need to pursue that question, for it is irrelevant

Science explains behavior

Strong behaviorism
	It is nonsense to talk about such things as consciousness
	They do not exist
	 
A mistake to talk about consciousness, because then we cannot get scientific
explanation going
	 
Behaviorism was developed as a Scientific program
Replace all the mental language by talk about conditioning, response

Instead of saying, he felt tired 
say
	he behaved thus-
		he yawned, closed his eyes, 
Instead of saying, he saw red,
	say
	he said
(speech= verbal behavior)

He was in pain
	replace with: he said ouch, grimaced, etc
