Constructive Logic
Lecture 2: Judgments and Propositions
In this lecture we introduce judgments, propositions, and proofs
and begin the discussion of the logical connectives. Following Martin-L&ouf and others, we apply to logic Wittgenstein's Principle of Verification, whereby the meaning of a proposition is
determined by what counts as a verification of it.
