Constructive Logic
Lecture 21: Arithmetic
By combining the first-order logic of quantifiers with the type of natural numbers, it becoimes possible to reason about the natural numbers in a very expressive and powerful system. Classically, this system is called Peano Arithmetic, while the constructive version is known as Heyting Arithmetic. We show how to establish some of the basic properties of natural numbers.
