The final exam for Database Management will be held on Friday December 10, 1999 from 8:30AM to 11:30AM. Location will be announced later.
Professor Kearns will be out of town this weekend from friday November 5 to sunday November 7 afternoon. She will not be reading emails during these times. Questions regarding the homeworks for this weekend can be send to the TAs. Professor Kearns will also be holding her office hours next week on Tuesday between 1:30 and 3:30 instead of Thursday.

Thaniya will be holding her office hour on Wednesday October 27, from 1:00-3:00pm instead of the normal friday hours from now on.
Bonnie will be out of town until thursday this week. Her office hours will change from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00pm to 3:00pm for this week only.
Professor Kearns will be around in her office from 12:00 to 3:30pm before the exam if anyone wants to stop by for last minute questions.

Preethi will be holding TA hours from 2:30 to 3:30 pm today in A100.
For this week only, Preethi will not be holding her office hours this afternoon. She will be holding it tomorrow (Tuesday Sept 21) instead, from 1:30-2:30 pm. Also for this week only, Thaniya will not be holding her office hours on friday. She will also be holding it tomorrow from 1:00-3:00pm.
There will be no class on Thursday, September 16.
Professor Kearns will be holding her office hours on Tuesday, 1:30 - 3:30pm next week instead of Thursday.
All labs for DBMS will now be held in Hamburg A100 cluster.

If you would like to borrow a CD with a copy of Personal Oracle 7 and Developer/2000 to install on your computers, you can do so by seeing Sue Kiger in HBH 1116, the Heinz School Computing Services office. Please tell Sue you need the software for your 90-746 class so she can make sure you are on the class roster.
If you have an old version of the Database Systems book (the purple one), there is no need to buy the new version (the blue one). You should follow the reading materials from HERE instead of the one provided in the syllabus.
