Instructions for Downloading Lecture Handouts

1. Using a Web browser, go to
   http://www.heinz.cmu.edu/project/compapps

2. Left click on the link Course Schedule.

3. Find the lecture for which you need the handouts.

4. Right click on the link Lecture Handouts.

5. Select "Save this link as..."
   • The "Save as..." dialog box appears.
   • Enter the folder where you want to store the file.
   • Enter a name for the file (it will default to lecturex.doc).
   • Click Save.

6. The "Saving Location" dialog box appears.

   If you are connected by a 28.8 modem, the download will take anywhere from 2 - 4 minutes
   
   

7. Launch MS Word for Windows 95,open and print the file lecturex.doc.
