History

Before this year, VSA had been a waning organization and the organization's history is not really clear. Supposedly, it had been formed a lot time ago but then died out. Another group of students decided to jumpstart the organization about 3 or 4 years ago and had a strong start. Unfortunately by the time they were seniors, things had fallen apart and no one was putting events together. Here is where our epic story begins. A group of legendary 6 executive board members came together in the Fall of 2006 and vowed to start VSA again and never let its fire extinguish again. Already, we have made great strides and can be proud of what we've accomplished. We hope you will enjoy our events, be willing to take a part, and finally share in our passion not only for the Vietnamese culture, but also in sharing in the friendships and bonds that our organization hopes to cultivate.
