Gender in the Classroom

Rob Simmons

Gender is one of many components that make up the identities of our diverse student body. In this seminar, we'll talk about some of the ways that gender influences classroom experience, with an emphasis on the experience of students and the concept of stereotype threat. We'll also talk about strategies for better understanding, and thereby teaching, all of our students.

Note: This seminar is based on the October 2012 Eberly seminar designed by Ruth Poproski, PhD.
