Student Interaction 101

For our students, positive interactions with course staff (and with other students) is a key factor that determines their success in and enjoyment of a course. For you, your interactions with students will greatly influence your enjoyment of your TA job and your effectiveness as a TA. In this seminar we will discuss common scenarios in which you will work with students, some of the challenges you might encounter in those scenarios, and how we can overcome those challenges to advance a course's teaching and learning goals.
