• Consult with Carnegie Mellon faculty to provide viable options for the use of technology to enhance learning. Advise as to appropriate technology to support specific teaching strategies.

• Facilitate projects through interface design development. Work on both independent and team based design projects for clients as needed. Integrate the resources of the TELab and campus into projects and consulting where appropriate.

• Technical skills: computer operating systems and hardware. Able to adapt to new software quickly as needed. Some familiarity with programming logic. Great deal of skill with graphic programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Macromedia suite and Premiere. Able to balance the desire for visual excellence with the human/technological performance issues in the creation of successful web pages and other multimedia content.
