The [Costume Book Collection] at Carnegie Mellon University 
is a digital collection of illustrated historic costume books. The current collection   
and future additions to this site are made possible through a generous   
endowment of Carnegie Mellon alumna, Carol Chaplin, in honor of her   
mother Margaret Smith Cushing, a 1927 graduate of the Carnegie Mellon   
costume economics program.
