Gordon Van Gelder has been an editor at St. Martin's Press for more than seven years. He was also an editor for The New York Review of Science Fiction for more than six years, and still reviews for them occasionally. At St. Martin's, some of the books and writers he edits are: Kate Wilhelm, The Year's Best Science Fiction (Dozois), Marc Laidlaw, Geoff Ryman, Micheal Kandel, Richard Kandrey, The Year's Best Fantasy and Horror (Datlow and Windling), Bradley Denton, Rachel Pollack, and The Encyclopedia of Science Fiction (Clute and Nicholls). He edited one book by our Guest of Honor Michael Swanwick and has also worked with our past guest James Morrow.
