Studio Crit (100 pts)

Assignment

To assist you with the application of the knowledge related to construction systems and detailing, every student is invited to sign up for a 20 minute crit with me over the next two weeks. The sign-up list is taped to the door of the studio.

To make the crit as effective as possible, please bring the following drawings with you:

1. An M&A formatted framing plan at 1/4"=1'-0" include all framing members, labels, section marks, notes, dimensions and grid lines.
2. An M&A formatted building section at 1/4"=1'-0" cut through the secondary structure.
3. Large scale corner details - plan and 2 sections at 1 1/2"=1'-0". (include locations of primary re-bar and do not show the enclosure - we are only interested in the framing at this point. )
4. Studio model(s) - physical or digital

Priority will be given to those students that have the complete package of drawings above i.e. I reserve the right to bump you out of your time slot, if you cannot fully represent your building to me. The crits will be in the small conference room (adjacent to the stairs) in the Robert L. Preger Intelligent Workplace™. You are welcome to attend crits with your colleagues as well.
