For the last several years, I’ve been teaching introductory quantum mechanics to both Physics majors (spring, 33-234) and non-majors (fall, 33-225). The course for majors is a bit more mathematical and includes the linear algebra of operators, angular momentum properties, and the full development of solutions to the Schrödinger equation for the harmonic oscillator and the hydrogen atom.
The following are notes on a variety of topics that I have developed in the process of teaching these courses. Not all of these notes are complete, polished documents but feel free to take a look; comments, questions, and suggestions are welcome.
