The
Undergraduate Investment Club will be hosting its first ever Case Competition on
Saturday, December 1st. It will take place in Simon Auditorium (Tepper Building)
from 10am-7pm and is open to all undergraduate students.
Participants will be divided up into teams consisting of 4 or 5 students, and
will spend the day working on a mathematically-oriented investing case dealing
with hedge funds. They will prepare throughout the morning and afternoon, and
present their cases in the evening for a Grand Prize of $200 that will be
awarded to the winning team.
A set of qualified judges consisting of professors and PhD students will be
there to decide the winning team. It will be a day filled with math, ratios, and
money, and everyone is encouraged to sign up!
