Weizhao Tang is a PhD student of Carnegie Mellon Univerisity. He is fortunately advised by Giulia Fanti. He is a member of CMU Cylab and IC3. He received his Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (2018) at Tsinghua University, and his Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (2021) at CMU.

His research interests include security and privacy of distributed systems, in particular, of cryptocurrency and blockchains.
