Biography

I am a researcher working as a postdoctoral associate advised by Professor Sahil Shah in University of Maryland, College Park. Before my postdoc, I completed my Ph.D. at ICBio Lab, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Carnegie Mellon Univeristy in Jan. 2025 (advised by Professor Marc Dandin).

My current research centers on energy-efficient AI hardware that bridges the gap between ML model compression and edge inference. At Maryland, I built a low-bit systolic array on FPGA, demonstrating the applicability of 3-bit Vision Transformer training. In my PhD dissertation, I developed an ASIC capacitance sensor for cancer cell assay. Throughout my PhD career, I was a recipitent of CMLH Fellowship and Carnegie Institute of Technology Dean’s Fellow. I also held a research internship at Apple in Cupertino in 2021.
