of Freeland, Pa. Freeland Police Department Annual Ball of 1932 |
|
This program booklet for the Freeland Police Department's 1932 Annual Ball comes from Billy Kuklis. It was held at the "Freeland Auditorium" (also known as Krell's Hall, and in earlier times the Yannes Opera House - later the location of the A&P which burned down in 1974, and now the site of a convenience store), with music by the Bell Hop Orchestra. The great thing about this program booklet for the purposes of this website is that it's filled with ads from supporters/patrons. Enjoy this stroll through ads from local businesses in 1932, including ads from Hazleton. Click on these page-by-page thumbnail images, or download the whole booklet as a PDF file.
