History
of Freeland, Pa. Freeland business ads in early city directories |
|
These ads are taken from city directories from 1886-1888, 1895, 1897 and 1900-1901, and a newspaper from 1889. A few South Heberton businesses are also included. Please note that there are a few 1895 ads that are still not in this list, because I still have to clean up the image files (scans of poor microfilm printouts, with lots of grey tone spattering the background). I'll try to do that sometime soon. Also, when I can get back to the microfilm, I may be able to pull additional ads that I missed the first time through. I'll add them here as I get them.
