The original church can be seen on the related page of early views. The photo at left here shows the new church that was built to replace it, and many of the men of the parish who contributed money and labor to build it. At right is a montage showing three iterations of St. Mary's Church. Both of these pictures came from John Zubach.
Here are two views of upper Fern Street in the early 20th century. The center church is the original one, renovated with double steeples added. The new church that would replace it is at the top of the hill. The church closest to the viewer is St. Anthony's. The colored version comes from Charlie Gallagher.
