Officer Responsibilities
- Qualities: Motivated, organized, and able to get the job done
- Responsibilities: Watching the day-to-day running of the committee, take initiative and set goals, motivate other members in carrying out the IAESTE mission, represent IAESTE CMU to the campus, companies and other organizations, and maintain contact with the National Office.
- Qualities: Motivated, organized, and able to get the job done
- Responsibilities: assists the president in running meeting and events. He or she assumes leadership if the president is not available.
Job-Raising Coordinator/Committee
- Qualities: Comfortable with talking to professors and companies, persistent, detail-oriented, knows many professors. Coordinator must be comfortable with managing committee.
- Responsibilities: Coordinates the job raising efforts and talks to professors to raise jobs for incoming interns. Be familiar with the IAESTE Internship Program, contact and follow up with employers, and create strategy to meet set goals.
Reception Coordinator/Committee
- Qualities: In Pittsburgh during the summer, enjoys meeting new people, organized
- Responsibilities: Keep in touch with interns to ensure arrival; coordinate housing, airport pickup, obtaining social security cards, and other necessary activities; have fun showing the interns Pittsburgh
Fall Regional Conference Coordinator/Committee
- Qualities: Detail-oriented, able to coordinate many things at once, motivated, dependable
- Responsibilities: Organize and delegate to the committees the different parts of the conference, including finding speakers for workshops, negotiating with hotels, setting up the formal dinner, finding sponsors, and acting as a host to the visiting LCs.

- Qualities: Motivated, enjoys meeting new people, interested in coming up with new ideas for recruitment
- Responsibilities: Spreading the name and introduce people to IAESTE on campus; help plan events; represent IAESTE at Activities Fair, GBMs, and other events; create a strategy to meet membership goals; be familiar with benefits of membership
- Qualities: Comfortable with numbers, detail-oriented, responsible
- Responsibilities: Create and maintain budget for the current year and the next (in the Spring term), note when additional funding is needed, work with Fundraising Committee to brainstorm new ideas for funds
- Qualities: Organized, dependable, detail-oriented
- Responsibilities: Records minutes of weekly meetings, reserves space for events and meetings, maintains communication between officers and members
Events Chairperson/Committee
- Qualities: Detail-oriented, able to coordinate many things at once, motivated.
- Responsibilities: Manage the different parts (budget, marketing, planning, execution) of event with committee
- Past events: Japanese Etiquette Dinner, Korean Culture Night, Global Seminar Series, International Engineering Symposium
- Qualities: Motivated, comfortable talking to anyone, possibly interested in entrepreneurship
- Responsibilities: Coordinates with school departments and companies for fund-raising opportunities and events.(attending conferences, campus-wide events, officer retreats, etc)
- Qualities: Interested in cultures, comfortable with meeting new people
- Responsibilities: Work with multi-cultural organizations around campus to plan events in order to bridge the technical aspects and the cultural aspects of IAESTE.
Markeing Director/Committee
- Qualities: Creative, comfortable working with people, organized, dependable, detail-oriented
- Responsibilities: Creates marketing campaigns (including print advertisements) for events, recruitment, and other general IAESTE activities; works with the Webmaster to utilize the web and other social networks; represents IAESTE to the campus and at events
- Qualities: Organized, dependable, has knowledge of website maintenance (HTML/CSS)
- Responsibilities: Keep website updated
