This course presents the processes used by technical managers to plan productions. Emphasis in this presentation is placed on the structure and practice of the regional theatre. Information is presented on the staffing of production departments and the responsibilities of those staff members with regard to production planning. After establishing a basis for discussing planning tasks within the frame of the regional theatre, the class will look at how these tasks transfer and are impacted by factors in other parts of the industry. Pre-requisites/Co-requesites:Introduction to Production or Instructors permission
