This course will involve reading and discussion of the main myths of celtic mythology from before the Roman conquest and their relation to Celtic life. Connections will be drawn between the various branches of Celtic myth: Welsh, Irish, etc. and their relationship to the latter phenomena like fairrelore and the legend of Arthur.
