An introduction to the fundamentals and engineering aspects of water quality. Basic principles of water chemistry; physical, chemical and biological phenomena affecting water quality; and application of these concepts to a description of water quality changes that may occur in treatment processes and in natural-water environments including water and wastewater treatment systems and groundwater. 3 hrs. rec.
