Units: 3.0 Department: Music Cross-listed: 57-863 Related URLs: http://www.cmu.edu/cfa/music String Methods prepares music educators for work in the public schools. A major portion of class time will be applied to violin and cello techniques. Upon completion of the course, the student will be expected to demonstrate the technical skills of a second year beginning string student. Students will also be introduced to various method books, string supplies, and repairs.
