Adding to the overall team GPA, this Computer Science Phd student hails from the land of carpool lanes and children-out-of-wedlock governors, California. With 2 years of eligibility left, this well-dressed quasi-hipster adds versatility to the team on perfectly still days. Self-declared utility player, he also brought an ACL-tearing curse to the team. Number 1 on his jersey, number 9 on the depth chart, he's still waiting for the day when everyone forces backhand.

Alec brings speed, ups, and the "Impulse influence" to Mr. Yuk. He also brings chronic shin splints. Expect to see him pulling down big skies, running down hucks, and improving his game.

Bio
Dave joined Mr. Yuk last year as a D-line handler. As a handler, Dave is always looking to embarrass his defender by sneaking up-line or breaking the mark. Defensively, Dave has beautiful layout form, which he once demonstrated with a horizontal, shoulder-high bid out of bounds at high tide. Off the field, Dave enjoys programming, working out in the gym, and all things asian. He makes the highlight reels too.

Big Mac returns to Yuk with an improved thumber and lefty scoober. He's developed an arsenal of spikes which he saves for the best occasions. He's the quietest person in the world unless you give him his favorite vegetable. He once picked up a girl by just laying on a couch and going to sleep, cementing his place as the most casual person on the team.

Bio
Canute is a freshman coming in from CoffeeTown, WA. He played two years on the Seattle club team Small Fryz' and played for the DiscNW YCC mixed team in 2011. He brings wacky styles, visionary throws, and crazy cheers, and bizzare beats. He's known for his "Nut up or shut up" workouts.

Bio
According to Ben's Facebook page, his interests include 'Flying Discs' and 'Hitting It From the Back.' One of those has to do with the fact that Ben is the Captain of Mr. Yuk in the 2011-2012 season. Something to know about Ben is that he will sky you, there's no way to avoid it. Mild case of the dropsies aside, our fearless leader is our most valuable cutter and has the ability to make any defender look foolish, if he decides to turn it on. Ben has big plans for Yuk this season and even bigger plans for your lady parts.

Willig is a sneaky cutter who manages to get open. He has an uncanny ability to come down with 50-50s. His slightly-wobbly throws somehow usually get to where they're supposed to. Willig can be found at all parties where he is comically into asian chicks.

Bio
Scott joined Mr. Yuk as a freshman by wow-ing the captains with his athleticism and intensity. Over the past two seasons, he has developed disc skills and field awareness, and has earned himself a pivotal role on our D line. Scott loves to layout, hitting the ground over and over again at practices and tournaments and getting tons of ridiculous blocks. Unfortunately, one encounter with the ground, following a jump of a two-story roof, left Scott with shattered bones in his ankle and incapacitated him for most of the winter. Apart from ultimate, Scott is an active member of the CMU campus community as a residential assistant, teaching assistant, and a assistant director for our pre-college program.

Sean Kane joins us as a speedy rookie. New to the game, Sean has quickly picked up quite some skills. He got his new nickname "Stone Kold Sean Kane" at Fall Easterns. Unfortunately, Sean broke his finger (twice) and required surgery, taking him out for much of the spring, but he'll be back and better than ever.

George found his way onto Yuk after ballin' out at the first tournament. Aside from occasionally getting point blocked, George will run you around the field. He's continued to improve his game throughout the season.

Duffman is a monster defensive force. No seriously, he is a force. You do not want him running into you. You know he just got a D because the disc is swatted 30 yards away from the field. Duffman grew a monster beard this spring. Small creatures have been found to live in it.

Reid comes down with huge skies, monster D's, and bizzare insults. Reid is also a kicker on CMU's football team, but lets face it, Ultimate is way more awesome. Reid recently proved that he has a 90 yard flick bomb, and has recently started pulling. Only a freshman, Reid will surely grow into a monstrous player.

Nipunn is an all-around solid player. Skills-wise he has great hucks and break throws, and defensively he is a monster in the air. He also has sick layouts. Having recovered from wrist surgery and a summer with Seattle's Voodoo, he hopes to explode in the college scene this coming year.

Bio
Hailing from the dirty South, Kaner joined us after four glorious years at Georgia Tech. Drawn to the wonderful weather of Pittsburgh after 22 years in the south, he also dominates Ultimate on the backhand side. Kaner's laid back attitude and love of the BBQ make him the life of every summer holiday party. We are enjoying Kaner's vision for Mr Yuk as a program, but more importantly, his significantly shorter huddle speeches.

Bio
Jesse is the team hobo. Look for him wearing torn clothes covered in paint. He was the treasurer in 2010, the captain in 2011, and will be the treasurer once again in his fifth year. He tore his ACL early in the '10-'11 season (due to the curse of Akshay) putting him out of play for the rest of the school year. However, Jizzy proceeded to take a year off of school, continue captaining the team, and will be back in the spring of '12. Expect to see him dropping dimes (but not literally of course. Jesse would never forget any coins).
