Units: 9.0 Department: Business Administration Prerequisites: 15-100 or 15-111 or 15-112 or 15-120 or 15-125 or 15-127 Related URLs: http://www.gsia.cmu.edu/ The objectives of this course are to provide students with basic knowledge of the technology used in computer-based information systems and to enable them to acquire the skills for analyzing how to manage this technology in business. There is a strong emphasis on how to become both an intelligent user of information systems and also an effective participant in the design process of these systems. Credit will not be allowed for both 70-451 and Information Systems, 88-200.
